Company Overview:
We are a major NYC-based media group with production companies. Currently, we are seeking a Contracted Line Producer to join our team for an upcoming feature film project.

Position Overview:
The Contracted Line Producer will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the efficient execution of the project from pre-production to completion. While most work will be remote during the pre-production phase, some travel may be involved, with travel expenses covered by the production.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the production budget, including allocating funds for various departments and expenses.
- Create and maintain the production schedule, coordinating with cast and crew availability, location requirements, and logistical considerations.
- Collaborate with the director and creative team to ensure the vision of the film is realized within budgetary constraints.
- Negotiate and secure contracts with vendors, crew members, and other service providers.
- Oversee the hiring and management of production staff and crew, including assistant directors.
- Monitor production progress and address any issues or challenges that may arise during filming.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Line Producer on feature film productions.
- Strong budgeting and scheduling skills, with the ability to manage large-scale projects efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
- Solid understanding of the filmmaking process, including production workflows, equipment requirements, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, such as Showbiz Budgeting.
- Prior experience working on independent films or non-union productions is a plus.
- Experience with New York film tax credit requirements is a must.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.
