Need support Production Assistants to come be a part of our merry band of travelers bringing a new show for Discovery to town. Think American Pickers or Antique Roadshow in terms of the style and logistics we will be dealing with. We'll be tied to the filming locations (the homes) without any real company moves once we get rolling. Every filming day we have had so far in our first four episodes has started after the sun was up and finished before the sun is down. Lovely! So while there's no guarantees in this world that it remains as relaxed a schedule as that, thus far there has been very minimal OT or hard hours.

ISO people experienced with on-set protocol and communication, can-do attitude and comfortability in fast-paced shooting environments.

12 hrs - have had virtually no OT on this show

ISO Production Assistant who can work as a local in the DC area. Someone with an active drivers license required and some experience on sets would be great.

- Prepping: compiling Call Sheet, crafty run, collect crew at airport
- Communicating with remote PM and Field Producer to secure all shoot needs

Seeking a production coordinator for remote support on two projects.

Dates: June 3rd - June 21st
Rate: $1200/week

Preference to NY Based (even though it is remote)

This shoot is to create photo and video assets of our rugs in a home in Tacoma, WA. The PA will assist the production team in clearing rooms, prepping and laying in rugs, arranging furniture, resetting rooms after shots are complete, and assisting the photo/video team in set-up and tear down of lights and modifiers. Responsibilities:
• Run primary player and MCR switcher during broadcast playout
• Set up, monitor, and provide technical direction for daily and weekly podcasts
• Rehearse and execute contingency workflows for playout, including playback from edit bays and feeding live from the studio to air
• Interface with downstream fiber and satellite delivery partners
• Perform utility routing and monitoring of audio and video for entire TMZ facility
• Label, start and monitor recordings for incoming feeds and studio productions
• Operate flashcam for live shots to affiliate stations and national news programs
• Test, migrate, and purge items in Dalet asset management/playout system
• Other technical duties, as assigned

Requirements
• 3+ years of television or OTT operations experience
• 1+ year(s) experience working in broadcast control room
• Proficient knowledge of industry standard production and post-production workflows
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Radio/TV or equivalent experience
• Intermediate MS Office skills and ability to learn new software
• Ability to monitor multiple applications in real time
