General Summary: This position will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day needs of the production.
Essential Functions:
• Operates a company vehicle to transport crew and production equipment to various destinations.
• Assists crew members with loading and unloading of production gear from company vehicles.
• Completes tasks and errands for the production set, as necessary.
• Provides craft services to cast and crew on the production set.
• Collaborates in the collection of expense receipts, releases, and production gear.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
• Must be meticulous with exceptional organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Qualifications:
• Local hires (within 30 mile radius of listed location) preferred.
• Required to be on set location.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving and parking a small van (up to fifteen passenger capacity).
• Competent in reading maps to prioritize daily travel routes.
• Practices good judgment and discretion.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced production environment, while maintaining professionalism and composure.
• Must be willing to work overtime when necessary, including mornings, nights, and weekends.
• Punctual with reliable transportation.
Physical Demands:
• This position requires the candidate to be able to sit or stand for the duration of their shift.
• This position requires moderate lifting of up to 45 lbs.
• This position works in a demanding environment, and the candidate should be able to manage changes and stress appropriately.
Work Environment:
• This position requires the candidate to be on a production set location.
• This position operates in a fast-paced environment with demanding hours.
• This position may require travel depending on the needs of the production.
• This position works both in an office and in the field; field work may require exposure to various climate and weather conditions.
Classification: Non-exempt
$236.60/12 Hours, OT after 12.
