Responsibilities:

Organize and distribute credentials to appropriate reps for talent upon arrival
Organize runner schedule, including catering, pickup and drop off for talent and staff
Point of contact day of and prior to arrival for all talent
Communicate with EST FEST IV Producer in timely and thorough manner
Manage catering schedule for two days and ensure talent/VIP spaces are clean, stocked and ready for shift arrival
Manage and distribute comp meal tickets according to producer's plan and staffing list

Prior to arrival (off-site work)
Work with EST FEST Producers to get full scope of hospitality needs for day of
Review talent schedule, catering and details
Manage talent arrival and coordinate with producer for credential and liaison assignment

Job Description

This is a part-time project/limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 6-12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

As a Freelance Production Assistant, you are responsible for assisting production personnel in the Golf studio.

Responsibilities:

Handle remote and/or studio production needs and requests
Assist with editing of sports television and/or video segments, including, but not limited to, highlight packages, bumpers and teases, as well as cueing shots and properly securing footage to be used in such segments
Help coordinate the maintenance and organization of sports television and/or video graphics
Support in daily highlight operation (screening, logging, writing and edit guidance)
Monitor newsfeeds
Secure video and audio footage to be used in highlight packages and features
Learn library and archive system
Assist in graphic coordination and features production
Perform required sports research
Regularly generate and distribute story and show ideas for all shows and platforms
Participate in production planning meetings
Support all phases of production

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum 1+ yearof professional production experience

As a Production Assistant, you are responsible for assisting production personnel in all phases of sports production for *** 's College Football coverage.

Responsibilities:

Organize weekly edit projects for producers and editors
Gather video and photo assets to use in packages and other elements
Reach out to PR teams and third parties for asset collection
Pitch game or studio ideas in weekly meetings with the assigned production team

Your New Role...

The Production Assistant will be responsible for assisting Producers and Associate Producers for The Lead with Jake Tapper with: locating video, ordering & building graphics, creating fonts, ingesting and editing video.

Your Role Accountabilities...

As the Production Assistant, you will be called upon to research program segments and topics and pull elements for guest interviews. The Production Assistant must work closely with rights and clearances, affiliate desk and assignment desks to ensure best video is used and sourced properly. This person will also be responsible for calling elements in the control room, and encouraged to pitch both package and guest ideas.

Must be able to edit as well as deal with satellite feeds and guest coordination. Must be strong editorially.

Qualifications & Experience...

A bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience.
At least one year experience in the news business with some control room background as well as work in video and graphics.
Must be able to work in fast paced, breaking news environment with proven attention to detail.
Able to juggle many tasks at once.
Ability to be detail oriented
Knowledge of current events and strong editorial judgement are also important
Editing experience
