New show for Discovery that will start in LA for two weeks and then travel to four other cities around the country over the coming couple few months. All travel expenses covered + per diem. Smaller crew show based around houses and interesting items (think American Pickers) where we will likely be working hard and fast while on the road with some prep time in between episodes. One or two weeks of LA prep, two weeks of LA shoots, and then we'll be on the road to other cities.

This show needs a PC that is borderline spiritual in their commitment to organization and someone that can communicate efficiently and problem solve on-the-fly. Love it if you also have a sense of humor, but I suppose that one is optional. Your PM and LP have been doing this a long time and tend to try to make this work life something we enjoy and to hire people that work together well and are generally affable.

Our team will be filming the event to produce stock footage style archival content and post-produce a Highlight Sizzle along with additional marketing content. You will be working to help manage logistics for a crew of 12-15.

Applicant should be capable of facilitating great communication and a seamless workflow between the Event Producer, Creative Producer, Lead Editor and crew. You will need to manage production documents via our shared google drive and revise/deliver production schedules, post-production schedules, short briefs for crew (text/email) and call sheets. PC will also need to order team lunches and coordinate pick-ups/drop offs with our driver.

Teams will be on a 12hr day but likely wrap in 8-10. There will be plenty of breaks and downtime.

The Production Coordinator's primary emphasis is on scheduling, communication and coordination for a specific group (discipline) of artists (or multiple groups) on any given project. What You'll Do

Work closely with your discipline supervisors in crewing, casting and scheduling your discipline's body of work, keeping in mind the overall show schedule, client reviews, bids, and other discipline needs.
Establish a process for communicating discipline targets, assignments, and priorities to your artist crew, as well as the overall show crew. This should be daily and/or weekly.
Schedule, track, and manage assigned work within the ILM Internal Tracking Tool as well working with Production Managers to display the information in a physical form (magnet boards / conference rooms) in order to be visible to the team.
Ensure work is on schedule for each department and is meeting internal and external (client) deadlines. Check in with artists on a regular basis regarding workload, targets, needs, etc
Set up turnovers with discipline crew. Communicate turnover information to all artists assigned to asset(s) or shot(s).
Track client needs, reviews and deliveries to make sure your discipline hits their targets.
Serve as key communication liaison *** ween all parties relevant to your work. Provide updates, priorities, reschedules, and status of all shots at any given moment.

Establish a process for communicating discipline targets, assignments, and priorities to your artist crew, as well as the overall show crew. This should be daily and/or weekly.
Schedule, track, and manage assigned work within the ILM Internal Tracking Tool as well working with Production Managers to display the information in a physical form (magnet boards / conference rooms) in order to be visible to the team.
