HIRING: SENIOR SEGMENT PRODUCER - ATL PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

A female-centric docu-follow is on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Segment Producer to join our team from mid to late April through August. While based in Atlanta is preferred, it's not a strict requirement for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead of the segment team, spearheading coordination and management efforts.
Confidently manage talent relations and ensure a smooth collaboration process.
Secure and clear locations, with a keen eye for high-end settings that elevate our visual storytelling.
Develop and pitch engaging activities for our large cast to participate in, ensuring dynamic and compelling content.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in booking premium locations and sourcing unique backdrops, with at least 4 credits as a Segment Producer.
Exceptional organizational skills, with proficiency in Google Drive.
Maintains a positive attitude under pressure, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.
Previous work on Bravo/Netflix projects is highly desirable. Please highlight these credits in your application.

• Curate and organize ****'s OTT platform (11Alive+) and YouTube (1.7M+ subscribers) to create the most compelling viewer experience

• Work with news and digital departments to optimize existing content

• Monitor metrics and make content decisions with goal of increasing time spent on platforms

• Collaborate with managers, reporters, producers and photojournalists across the newsroom to identify news events and interviews ideal for live streaming and on-demand video

• Utilize available video and platform optimization tools (such as TubeBuddy) to improve digital video content performance through such attributes as thumbnails, tags, playlists and more.

• 7+ years producing with both field and control room experience.
• This position requires a creative thinker with the ability to find new and entertaining ways to present information, new angles to approach stories, and the organization skills to bring it all together.
• The position requires outstanding news judgment, critical and strategic thinking, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience.
• Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.

*** seeks a talented Associate Producer to join the *** This Morning team!

Your Role Accountabilities...

The Associate Producer responsibilities include, but are not limited to: viewing and selecting the strongest and most accurate video elements (packages, sound-bites, B-roll,etc) for a newscast. APs should be familiar with all important stories and the elements that go with them. They communicate show needs with writers, producers, and assignment desks. Other responsibilities include ordering and/or producing graphics, reporter packages, social *** segments as well as prepare editing requests and use technological tools to research and gather archive video. APs make sure all video elements are prepared properly for air and that *** source records include accurate details. They work in the front row of the control room to communicate the status of video elements and ensure best elements are available quickly.

Your Qualifications & Experience...

• Two years as an AP, writer/producer or producer in local news, cable or at the network level.
• Must have strong news awareness and production skills, the desire to work in a 24-hour newsroom environment and the ability to react quickly and calmly to breaking news situations.
• The candidate must be able to handle themselves professionally in changing and challenging situations and be able to react quickly under duress.
• Knowledge of iNews is extremely beneficial.
• Understanding of graphics, social *** and non-linear production is essential.
• Ideal candidate must be aggressive and be able to adapt to changing technology, demonstrate strong editorial judgment and be willing to work whenever needed.
• Candidates must be extremely flexible and willing to support breaking news and coverage needs in all day parts.
• Four-year degree or commensurate work experience.
