If you love comics and want to produce and host your own segments, this is the job for you.

A newly launched YouTube channel for an established company is looking for a host/producer to cover classic and current comics as well as occasional major movie releases and news.

You will be part of a team of fun, hard-working comic fans who create authentic content. We don’t want to stifle your voice and style: we want your personality to come through. We aren’t looking for local news or “Entertainment Tonight” style reads. You will be reading comics, writing your own copy as well as talking off-script during pieces you produce.

We are looking for someone who has been reading comics for a while. You don’t have to have an encyclopedic knowledge of every comic in existence, but if you’re going to start reading comics before you apply for this job, it's not for you. If your only experience with comics is watching recent movies, this job is not for you.

Qualifications:

Essential Responsibilities

Oversee creative segments under the direction of the EP, Co-EP, and Supervising Producers as well as work closely with Production team members to ensure budget expectations are met, staffing needs are communicated, and post/deliverables are executed on time.
Be a one-person band when necessary, crashing day of air pieces for broadcast with quick turnarounds.
Contribute towards building the brand identity by being able to take information and create engaging and interactive formats in which the viewer can participate.
