Job Description

*** Chicago is looking for a Political/Investigative Producer who's creative, collaborative, and results-driven to join our award-winning News department.

Responsibilities include:

Research, write, and produce political content for *** , along with all digital platforms, including stories and teases as assigned by producers, platform managers and the Political reporter
Develop a network of sources and experts to generate enterprise consumer stories on a daily basis
Monitor, vet and research incoming political tips

How you'll make an impact:

Temporary producer for the Laura Coates Show, a daily morning show that covers news and politics on POTUS, *** 's bipartisan politics channel. Responsible for all aspects involved in the production of a daily live talk show, including booking high profile guests, researching and prepping host, creating daily show promos, and updating social *** .

What you'll do:

Collaborate with host to generate compelling show topics and guests that will create lively, balanced, and bipartisan talk programming.
Plan segments, topics and develop editorial calendar for the show.
