Los Angeles, CA

Corporate

Starts Apr 08

Full Time

  • Pay Rate: $1,500.00 / Weekly - Exempt rate
  • Job Requirements: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).

Located in West LA, a small to medium size production company is on the lookout for a dynamic Equipment Coordinator to become an integral part of our small but passionate production team. This full-time, exempt position is designed for someone who thrives in the creative world of production, offering the unique opportunity to manage and oversee a comprehensive inventory of camera and lighting equipment. Your role will be pivotal in preparing and setting up camera packages for an array of shows, development projects, and events, ensuring our storytelling capabilities are always at their peak.

Collaboration is key and you'll work closely with our Production Management team to navigate the lifecycle of our equipment - from acquisition and repair to sale and decommissioning. Given the nature of our industry and the size of our team, your contributions will extend beyond equipment management; you'll also lend a hand with general office duties and production tasks as needed, as well as assisting with camera and lighting on smaller shoots. This role requires flexibility with hours sometimes stretching beyond the standard 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday schedule, accommodating the varied and exciting world of production timelines.

We're looking for an individual who brings a reliable vehicle, a positive attitude, and the ability to operate independently with a high level of motivation. A background with a minimal to decent understanding of camera and lighting equipment is essential, as is the willingness to learn and grow within this space. The successful candidate will also demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc.). Plus, you'll have the rare chance to use our top-notch camera equipment for your personal projects, subject to approval.

We offer contributions towards a health plan, affirming our commitment to your health and happiness. This role is not just a job but a pathway to immerse yourself in the production industry, offering hands-on experience both on and off-site. Exempt rate, with weekly pay.
