We are a growing marketing company with clients nationwide and we are expanding to the point where it doesn't always make sense to send our home crew. We are looking for regular freelancers in all of our cities where we have multiple clients. This is a great opportunity for on going freelance work or for younger crew members wanting to jump out of AC and do more Camera Op gigs.

The Lead should have knowledge of what makes a good interview set up and be able direct the assistant in where to set up lights. All interviews are done with 2 cameras. A lock off wide that is monitored to make sure its still recording and a closeup on a slider. Should be at least be familiar with how a good producer conducts an interview but it would be ideal if they have that experience. You'll be interviewing everyday employees and high up officers of the company so a professional look

Typically the first half of the shoot our interviews in 1 or 2 set ups and the second half is gathering B-Roll of the facility, office, warehouse, factory, city, etc. We do want both positions to be strong shooters who commit to shots, can visualize how each shot might be used in an edit, and be able to get as much as possible. Nothing is worse than when our editors don't have all the footage they need and have to purchase stock footage or hang on an interview for too long.

The first shoot I have in the Raleigh area will be in late April or May.

Standard Rates:
$350 Lead

Standard Equipment:
2 Canon DSLR's (Will rent more heavy duty cameras for bigger jobs as needed)
2 primes and 2 Zooms
2 Tripods
1 Slider (Edlekrone Pro is our standard slider for the portability)
1 LED Light Kit
Lav Mic
Sound Recorder
Bonus: Drone or stabilizers

Candidates that have most of the equipment is our ideal hire but we are open to send, rent and purchase equipment that you need to work consistently for us.

The intent of the project is to sell the script. Therefore no camera equipment will be used. Just iphone, gimballs and lights. The script is complete. The shooting script is complete. A shooting script and story board will be made available to the videographer prior to the shoot date.

Scenes will be shot inside and outside of a Hotel Building in Manhattan. The cast is multi-ethnic. I will need a videographer that has experience filming men and women of diverse backgrounds and skin tones. Everyone must look good (in their best light). If you don't have experience with diversity please prepare yourself prior to applying.

All scenes are 5 minutes or less. We will not shoot in continuity. I only need the actors present for their scenes on set. Therefore we will shoot the scenes in order of actors appearance.

At EOD all scenes must be confirmed. The shooting script and story board can be used as a guideline.
I have to be sure I have what I need to move forward to post production.

Arrival times for videographer will be 10am weekdays Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and Sunday. Schedule will be confirmed upon hiring. Start of May 22nd may be changed...
