Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Operate camera, sound, lighting and equipment to cover live and taped events
• Operate a camera for covering live news around games, practices and feature stories
• Interacting with the assignment desk, reporters/anchors, production, control room, and appropriate staff
• Gather compelling video, natural sound and work with others to make sure it makes sure it gets distributed on the air
• Use courtesy and respect at all times and take extra caution when in the public's eye
• Maintain equipment and vehicles by doing preventive maintenance and daily vehicle safety
• Edit features, packages, audio and video
• Travel to games, events and other out of market assignments

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license as well as a clean driving record

• 3-5 years' experience in a top ten market

Newscast Producers work closely with assignment editors, reporters, and anchors to produce, write, edit and gather content on all **** platforms.Producers will be responsible for the overall newscast and coverage of assigned stories on all platforms throughout the day, including but not limited to Out-of-Home, web, and broadcast.

The Investigative Producer pitches, researches, shoots, writes, and edits daily and HFR investigative stories and projects for all *** 10/ *** 62/ *** Sports Philadelphia platforms. You must be able to juggle multiple assignments while working on deadline and love jumping in on breaking news. In this role, the Investigative Producerwill work closely with management and an experienced investigative reporter.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an investigative producer or reporter.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws impacting operations as they relate to investigations, undercover content, and hidden cameras. Experience partnering with the legal team is a plus.
• Knowledge of *** Law
• Public record laws and experience putting in and monitoring record requests.
• Computer assisted reporting, including Excel, Accurint, Broadcastify, and datamining from social *** and other websites.
• Knowledge how court systems work, including finding court documents and tracking cases.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

As an *** 10 | *** 62 employee, you will have the opportunity to join a fast-paced production / operation team that delivers news programming across multiple platforms. You will be supporting our 24/7 broadcast news group and our Engineering and Operations department.

Job Duties:

• Operate camera, sound, lighting and editing equipment to cover live and taped events
• Respond quickly to breaking news while taking direction and interacting with the assignment desk, reporters/anchors, production, control room, and appropriate *** personnel
• Gather compelling video, natural sound, and work with others to make sure it meets deadlines
• At direction of the assignment desk, respond to breaking news obeying all traffic laws
• Be competitive and measured to make sure *** 10/T62 is accurate and first
• Interact with the assignment desk, reporters/anchors, production, control room and acquisition personnel
• Proficient in lighting, videography, non-linear editing with Adobe Suite, microwave truck operations, Live U and Dejero operation
• Maintain equipment and vehicles by doing preventive maintenance and inspections
• Attend editorial meetings to gain *** ter understanding of overall process and contribute ideas
• Operate with professionalism and respect and take extra caution when in the public's eye

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years as a video journalist / editor in a fast-paced news environment
• Must have a valid driver's license as well as a clean driving record
• Must adhere Environmental Health & Safety standards and regulations
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds of equipment at a given time
• Must be able to stand for at least 2 hours at a time (in breaking news situations, may need to stand for longer periods of time - up to 8 hours)
• Must be able to operate live transmission equipment including microwave trucks and bonded cellular devices like Live U / Dejero
• Must be able to maneuver small spaces (in/out of vehicles and to be able to take camera shots in tight spaces)
• Must be able to sit for up to 2 hours at a time (i.e. for editing purposes)
• Must be willing to work all days/shifts

Desired Qualifications:

• Compelling storyteller with a knowledge and command of various camera types
• Ability to work creatively both independently and as a member of a team
• Proficient video editing skills under tight deadlines
• Proficiency with multiple camera types including but not limited to: Shoulder mount ENG, Handheld C *** orders, DSLR/Mirrorless, Go Pro Style Action Cam, Drone
• Strong editorial, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
• Knowledge and ability to operate communication tools and stay connected with the assignment constituencies (i.e. use of email software, cell phone, messaging tools, etc)
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
