The Audience Experience Team is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to implement new technical initiatives and deliver cutting edge solutions. This role will collaborate with development teams and provide infrastructure support and guidance from the early phases of product development, and be responsible for automating the build, release and deployment of the software product. The ideal candidate will be passionate about *** and technology and have 3+ years of hands-on large-scale, enterprise developer operations or software engineering experience.
Responsibilities:
- Improve and maintain build services and technology for product development teams
- Support development through all environments, from local development to production
- Research and pioneer the adoption and use of new technologies
- Help the team to design, develop, test, and deliver software
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years experience in designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure for software products at scale
- Extensive experience with Jenkins and/or Bamboo build tools
- Experience with cloud hosting and deployment
- Strong understanding of Git
- Prior experience building continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- A collaborative, flexible, positive mindset
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
- Experience driving container utilization strategies with Docker
- Experience with CDN management
- Experience with developing automated internal frameworks or developer tools to increase developer release velocity or improve code health
- Master's degree or further education or experience in engineering, computer science or other technical related field
- Passion and ability to learn other coding languages or technologies as needed
