Responsibilities:
- Use the latest editing and photography tools to tell great stories, including Adobe Premiere
- Produce original content on-air that evoke emotion and tell compelling stories.
- Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of *** to enhance fun stories.
- Contact sources and develop lifestyle stories that are unique and captivating.
- Attend editorial meetings, participate in discussions, and suggest story ideas.
- Edit b-roll for show
- Conduct entertaining interviews for the LIVE show
- Pre-tape and edit fun interviews
- Perform other tasks as required
- Use social *** and digital tools to research, discover and distribute content
- Research story ideas and pitch to Executive Producer
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience preferred. This is not an entry-level position.
- BA/BS/AAA/AAS in journalism , communications or related field preferred, or comparable tv work experience.
- Experience in editing, photography, and content management systems
- Positive attitude and eagerness to solve problems.
- Proven ability to generate creative, engaging, content-driven live shots
- Must be reliable, dependable and flexible with schedule
- Understanding of the ethics of professional journalism.
- Current valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicle to and from various locations.
- Must be comfortable in front of the camera, including LIVE interviews
