SHOW DESCRIPTION -   In Depth with Graham Bensinger averages 3 million television viewers/episode and 2.5 million digital views/episode airing weekly across the U.S. on the local NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX stations. It re-airs on NBC Regional Sports Networks and FOX Sports Nets, YouTube, ESPN in Australia/Latin America/Caribbean, BT Sport in Ireland/UK and TSN in Canada. Recent episodes range from a few days in Serbia with tennis star Novak Djokovic, to a trip to Texas for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, to visiting Hong Kong with Arnold Schwarzenegger, to traveling to Monaco with Prince Albert, to the week in the Bahamas with Sir Richard Branson.  

POSITION SUMMARY  - We film on Canon 5D Mark IVs. - We record at 48000 khz, 24 bit, shoot at 29.97 drop-fps and do not require timecode jamming. - Audio must be recorded to separate tracks - we have to be able to split audio. Mixdowns and backup tracks are welcome but no mixdown as primary track. - Hops are not necessary but welcome if no additional cost. - Minimum of (1) IFB required for the producer to monitor audio. - At least two subjects, no more than four, requiring wireless lavalier microphones throughout the interview and following activities. - Booming additional subjects and activities will be required. -Mic redundancies required for sit-down interviews when there are 2 subjects (aka 2 lavs and 2 booms). - We will provide an SD, CF card or both for each day we film and then collect upon wrapping.

Job Description

The Photographer/Editor is responsible for shooting and editing all elements of stories used in *** broadcasts utilizing the highest level of technical standards.

Job Duties

Creatively visualizes stories told by Correspondents and Producers utilizing HD camera, creative lighting, expert sound, and on-air communications.
Utilizes cellular bonded transmission equipment (ex. LiveU) and is responsible for being able to run a live broadcast scenario.
Responsible for photographing and editing feature stories on a tight deadline.
Collaborates with Producers and Correspondents for series, special reports, breaking news, and/or long form content.
Assists Correspondents and Producers in the pre-production and post-production process.
Responsible for always maintaining equipment and resources in good working conditions as well as keep an updated inventory of equipment.
Responsible for operating a crew vehicle.
Creates pack list and a manifest of equipment being deployed domestically and internationally.
Responsible for operating a crew vehicle.
Maintains a good standard with all administrative tasks as it relates to travel, expenses, *** file workflows, and telecommunication tools.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience working as Photographer/Camera Operator in the field

Proven experience managing and/or assisting live transmissions via bonded cellular (ex LiveU), satellite trucks or local microwave
Prior experience and thorough understanding on how to send stories via file transfer (ex latakoo, *** shuttle) and via bonded cellular technology
Proven proficiency using Avid 6.0 *** composer and Mac operating system
Proven proficiency using Sony HD series professional broadcast cameras including FX9 and FX3
