The TMP is responsible for directing live and pre-recorded productions utilizing Ross OverDrive automation software. The TMP is also responsible for monitoring the station’s on-air signals, transmitter, and FCC logs, as well as segmenting and ingesting daily programming and commercials. The successful candidate enjoys problem-solving, possesses strong communication and organizational skills, and can perform well under pressure. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented team player who is eager to learn and willing to be challenged.

Technical *** producers (TMP) are a mix of master control operators (MCO) and technical directors (TD). Regular responsibilities include directing newscasts and cut-ins, maintaining studio equipment, fulfilling graphic requests, live shot coordinating, writing discrepancy reports, ingesting programming, segmenting programming, monitoring on-air signals, maintaining logs, and performing other duties as assigned.
