Monitoring and troubleshoot on-air video and audio signals using ITX Transmission Control. I currently monitor 15 international full-time channels: 6 originating out of master control and 9 remotely controlled channels and 3 channels domestic using Harris. On these channels I also check SOM's, QC spots or shows, locating tapes using Daisy, trim or add promo frames to start at a fixed time, make sure cue tones go off, append or edit incoming lists, make sure closed captioning and subtitling is appropriate and available, patch when needed, pull As runs if request, retransmit media events if requested, document all discrepancies and email.

QC Operator using vector scope spot check for video and sound. Scheduling spots for promos, commercials, movies, and T.V. programming using Xytech and gator. Ingesting and prep to tapes on to beta tape and uploading to the file server. Checking emails Microsoft Outlook using excels. Edit tapes using Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Pro 7 digitizing tool compression/encoding clips upload to sever.
