Being able to work for such an iconic and well-respected company in the industry was a real treat. I watched some of the shows they produced and there were so many talented people in the company. Whether it was research, making production binders, or prepping cameras, I was happy (okay thrilled) to assist with anything they needed for its slate of shows. Because they knew I could get it done and handle the extra responsibility, I was often asked to do the more time-sensitive and important runs.

I was thrilled when I got asked to join the crew on BattleBots. I remember watching it as a teenager and loving the robots. All the thought and talent that went into creating the machines. When I became a part of the show, I saw the rabid fans first hand. They would wait hours to see their favorite “bot,” sometimes coming to multiple shows in a week. It’s not too dissimilar to a sporting event. One highlight was when the Events Producer told me I was chosen to be the Events Production Assistant because it was an important position that required a person that would be reliable and relatable.. Role included: Directing conduit between audience members and production Ensuring audience member safety and security Following strict schedule, including having every audience and VIP member seated by show time
