Editor for VICE News web team and also work on reoccurring segment for Vice News Tonight. Main focus is on short docs between 5-15 minutes. Sound, color, and GFX skills.

Worked closely with the small group of directors, producers, and editors to build scenes. Worked with 100s of hours of footage shot from around the world. Once the film was locked I worked as the festival submission coordinator.

I was the only Assistant Editor for 6-8 editors working on news docs usually ranging from 10-30 minutes. On top of general AE responsibilities, I cut quickhits on breaking news, extra scenes that would be released after the full pieces, and also cut dispatches with tight turnarounds. There were a few news features that I also AE'd during this time.

Was the only AE on this film and also acted as the assembly editor creating a rough cut for the lead editor.

I worked on Bitten, one of 5 shorts in this film. I took on the role of assistant editor at first but they also ended up needing someone to assemble a rough cut while they were finishing shooting. Once I was done with the rough cut I worked with the director/editor to finish the short.
