Once footage has been captured, I am in charge of backing up the footage across multiple hard drives or storage drives and from time to time create dailies for the director to view.

As a Scripty, I work closely with the Director to ensure that all necessary shots are covered, and that they will all edit together seamlessly. I break down scripts into a shot-by-shot schedules. I work with the Director to determine the shoot order, and how long each scene will take to film. I also provide emotional support. I also work closely with the Actors by running lines with them, reminding them of previous action and by revising the script. I manage the the script reports and logs used by the Production Office to communicate the progress of the film to be in tune with how many scenes were completed per day, the time the first shot was of the day, reasons for why we went over our scheduled shot lists for certain days, etc...
