This was one of two projects I filmed with a friend in Austin in the span of three days. I was director of photography, shooting with the Red Gemini. It was very much a work with what we've got situation, having only a couple high-powered LED light panels and a set of LED tube lights. It was also shot with a home-made doorway dolly and a jib designed for smaller cameras than the Red, but we made it work and I am happy with the final look. I was hired on to this project to do photography and create a video for a new apartment building. The has high energy and highlights all the details of the building. The video can be seen below in the media section.

I shot, directed, and edited this Kickstarter video for a children's book. I shot with the family who created the book for about 4 hours and used that content to create the video. The video can be seen below.

I am director of photography for this crime story following a case that was reopened to relook at what really happened. The case is still open and waiting for the final verdict, so the film cannot be completed until then.

I was director of photography for the project, but I was not camera operator. We did not find an actor for the role in time since it was a no budget project, so I jumped in and did it. We spoke through the shots, I set up lighting wherever we needed it, then I stepped in front of the camera, where either the director or another filmmaking friend operated the camera. Not an ideal way to make a film, but we made it happen.

I was the director of photographer for the full season of 6 episodes. It was a story that took place mainly in San Francisco and LA, so we filmed interviews and b-roll in those cities, as well as others. Much of the series is also reenactments based on the stories gained in the interviews, and all those reenactments were shot in and around Austin. I was also the drone operator for the many drone shots in the series. See the extended trailer and the excerpt video below in the media section.

My role was director of photography of this short horror film. We filmed with mostly practical lighting, with a light panel or china ball to augment the light. The film can be seen below in the media section.
