I joined this film shortly after post production began. I've ingested original footage, ingested and tracked VFX, organized and tracked archival, and even edited a couple montages as a baseline for the editor. We were forced to take a brief break, but are now back on and working to complete the film.

I worked with a team of AEs to prepare the show for the online process. Ingesting archival masters, GFX, and titles. Exporting for review by Netflix and the show's subjects.

On this project I mainly worked on delivery to Netflix.

I helped to complete this show, including tracking and QCing VFX, making exports, completing sound and picture turnovers, and delivering to Hulu.

I helped to complete the film, mainly with deliveries and replacing archival temps with the proper masters.

I started working for The First 48 as an Edit Room Assistant, where my main task was ingesting footage. Within a year I had moved up to being an Assistant Editor, where I worked with producers and editors to complete several episodes. I organized projects, made stringouts and temp titles, some temp scoring, and other usual AE tasks. I also edited some shorts that were featured on the show's Facebook page.

In this permalance role at a post production house I perform a combination of an AE and a runner. On the one hand I provide all the services of an assistant editor: multigrouping, syncing, file prepping, onlining, etc. On the other hand I prepare coffee, take lunch orders, transport hard drives and other deliverables, and IT support.

Studio sound mixing and post production on Three Pannists, a podcast about the Steel Pan community, NYC musician lifestyles, and current events. I also directed and edited the show's promos.
