Click to edit position descriptionAs a Video Producer for Rolling Stone, in addition to shooting & editing content, I was responsible for coordinating shoots, handling music agreements, directing and filming in-studio shoots, interviewing subjects on and off camera, and producing two of my own series: RS Live & RS Holiday Playlist. I also mentored the video interns, instructing them how to do the same tasks asked of me, from setting up studio shoots to delivering content.

Editing a wide variety of content for the Times’ video department, including the In Performance and Fantasy Football series. I also successfully pitched & produced a video about searching for free art, which was published on the site and City Room blog.

Shooting and editing live sessions with bands, which reached over 10,000 regular viewers; photographing concerts at Irving Plaza, The Knitting Factory, and more.

Assisting multiple editors in the creation of promotional ads for television networks (HBO, Cinemax, Spike). My day to day tasks included ingesting and organizing media, encoding and syncing footage, setting up projects, pulling selects, laying off deliverables, compressing files.

Writing coverage, giving notes on current series’ drafts and rough cuts, and assisting several executives and their assistants within the network.

Assisting with audition sessions, updating and organizing casting binders, office tasks, and assisting at outside events (Actorfest, Mega Music Fest, Viacom Kid’s Day).
