Assist in the camera operations, setup the angles, affix the lighting as need be and shoot the scenes. I effectively worked as both 1st AC and Director of Photography.

Scouted the location beforehand, set up the scene shots and assisted art adn sound direction. It was a primarily outdoors shoot so maintaining wide angles and consistent FOV was difficult. I effectively had to be my own 1st AC, DP and art director in one as the crew was skeleton.

I was the sole director and writer of this short film. It was primarily made as a final for my semester but also as a little bit of a passion project to flex my writing muscles a little bit and put myself in charge of a few crew members and gain experience.

This particular project only consisted of 3 people. Myself, a 1st AC and my lead. It was a small and short production primarily made as a midterm submission for my school.
3/19 – 3/19
Director of Photography (DP) (Panasonic GH5, Canon EOS T5 (x2)) – Happy Little Clouds
Colorado Film School — Film (Short) Details
3/19 – 3/19
I worked as both art direction and Director of Photography. The shoot was shot entirely in one location and being such a small space it was a relatively easy thing to maintain the continuity and aesthetic of the film. I was also tasked with shooting different techniques including my first real attempt at a dolly shot, a dolly zoom and intentionally breaking the 180 rule of dialogue.
