- Manage eight employees over several shifts spanning across a 24/7 workflow - A1 for live newscasts with up to six studio guests, two playback servers, four live feeds and multiple IFB's - Redesign new control room and assist engineering in installation coordination - Direct/technical direct live newscasts with up to six studio guests, two playback servers, four live feeds, two set monitors, and multiple channels of graphics - Build Custom Controls and manage all media within the Ross Carbonite Black switcher for use by operations team - Train all new operations and engineering staff on Ross switcher, router, streamline playout system, and Wheatstone audio console and routing. - Implement new technical requests set forth by the news department - Oversee purchasing and implementation of all new video, audio, and lighting equipment to be used on live broadcasts - Supervise a remote location master control department on all aspects of station automation located within the Oregon facility - Work as a liaison between multiple departments on what can, and cannot, be technically suitable for broadcast - Collaborate with the engineering department to maintain proper video and audio levels leaving the station through various platforms
