Brenda Lopez

I wrote, produced, and directed a short set in the 1950's. We had two separate shoots, one on a soundstage in New York and one on location in Connecticut. I am currently finishing the film. It will be ready this fall. The expected run time for this film is 20 minutes.

I coordinated the production. I handled the permits, insurance, releases, meals, transportation, and auditions and casting.

I wrote, produced and directed a short in spanish. It has a total run time of 7 minutes. We shot in New York.

I coordinated every aspect of production with the director who was also a producer. I hired crew, locked in locations, handled permits, casting, releases, the budget, travel and accommodations, meals, equipment rentals and insurance, and I was also the Assistant Director.

I scheduled the four-day shoot with travel and kept the set running efficiently.

I co-directed a feature documentary about Alden Peters coming out process. We documented the moments when Alden told his family and friends that he identifies as gay. The film is currently in post production; it will be finished this fall (2014).
