Brandee Neal

I researched topics, issues, performing interviews and transmitting that information to the public. I made calls, conducted interviews in-person and over-the-phone, made follow-up calls, etc. I received press releases, media alerts and Chicago breaking news pages and distributed story ideas to the reporters. I read, edited and posted stories online.

I assisted with camera setup. I also helped with makeup of the cast of the Merge Shows. I also performed research online for the company's website for artist's profile.

I worked very closely with the morning news assignment editor and planning editor. I also assisted with greeting guests and taking them to the green room to prepare for the morning news segment. I went out on assignments with reporters and even participated in a mock newscast.
