As a sound recordist, I would be in charge of making sure the microphone set up was adequate enough for recording. Along with the set up I was also a co-host on the podcast, I would also watch the levels while recording was in process. Once the recording was finished I would tear down and take the SD card containing the audio and transfer it to an external HDD for sound editing the episode.

I was in charge of sound mixing and editing the podcast Going Off Topic. After the recordings I would edit in post-production in AVID Pro Tools. Once a rough cut was put together I would send for review, after approval and additional changes I would publish online in Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, SoundCloud and Stitcher.

On set my responsibilities were to record /mix sound on during each take and also sometimes doing both if the boom operator was not present. I was also in charge to be aware of our surroundings when it came to outside sound obtrusion. Overall I was responsible for laving up each talent member for each day on set.
