Developed and field produced a pilot reality series that followed a group of philanthropic motorcyclists across 48 states and the 10 provinces of Canada on a mission to educate people on cancer prevention. Coordinated all storyline elements and conducted daily interviews with the 4-member cast. Created a funding campaign in collaboration with a fiscal sponsor.

Wrote, produced and edited on-air promotional spots that increased ratings for “Snapped,” “Love Games,” “Jersey Couture” and “Dance Your Ass Off.” Collaborated with graphic designers, online editors and audio mixers to shepherd projects through the entire production process.

Developed, researched, field produced and edited a 10-episode natural sound travel-vignette series. Wrote and co-produced host wraps featuring Laura Greene. Reduced post-production costs and relieved edit room demands by editing the series via desktop on Avid Xpress Pro.

Created, developed and produced “Earthtripping,” an eco-friendly travel adventure show that became Equator HD’s signature series, eventually distributed in over thirty countries. Built teams of international crews, collaborated with fixers and supervised complete production schedule. Generated a conservative show budget that made it possible for Equator HD to retail sole ownership and all worldwide distribution rights. Casted and directed well known personality Ethan Zohn.

Produced, wrote and edited a 1-hour documentary about the Day of the Dead celebrations in Oaxaca, Mexico. Worked with local production crew/fixer to navigate native customs, obtain permits and conduct intimate interviews with dozens of subjects, including historians and religious leaders.

Produced, wrote and edited a 1-hour documentary on the ancient Holy Week rituals in Antigua, Guatemala. Supervised crew and conducted several dozen interviews with local participants and religious leaders.

Created marketing strategies to build brand awareness, generate viewer excitement and increase viewership. Wrote, produced and edited more than 100 topical and generic promo spots per year. Produced an annual marketing tape used by sales affiliates to increase advertising revenue. Crafted and mass distributed press releases, backgrounders and talent biographies that generated publicity for promotional events and special programming.

Researched, wrote, produced and edited a 3x New York Emmy Award winning documentary on a shoestring budget. Negotiated with Dick Cavett to narrate gratis in exchange for donating a portion of video sales to the preservation of Long Island’s endangered lighthouses. Coordinated with the Coast Guard and National Parks Service to gain access and get transportation to shoot inaccessible and hard to reach lighthouses. Created a marketing plan that sold and distributed several thousand copies to local schools, libraries and the general public.
