With Vice I’ve been producing projects from nuts to bolts. I'm brought on to a project shortly after it is sold through to a client and ready to move into pre-production. From there I work hand and hand with the rest of the staff to put together a work calendar and budget, which directly represents the work being done, hire the best director for the gig, bring on all necessary crew, set u p all casting options, find locations for the shoot and do all logistical paperwork. For day of the shot I set the schedule/s and make sure all gear is ready to go for when we arrive in set. During the shoot I maintain the timeliness of cost ofthe day while also making sure w e've hit our creative goal and treatment. After the shoot I take over the post production where I manage multiple editors and assistant editor through the many rounds of internal and client review. I manage the budget and timeliness of post-production, as well, until we color and mix for release.
