During this university-sponsored project, I worked as the boom operator for a documentary focused on a nonprofit charity assisting Burmese refugees in Thailand. My main job was to capture sound for all interviews + b-roll shots for the film. Once filming was wrapped up in two weeks, I spent the next four months in post-production, translating interviews and editing the footage of a young mother creating her own business through the nonprofit.
Summary
While my favorite TV shows tend to be on the more dramatic, reality TV side, I am a fan of telling great stories through different mediums. As a recent graduate, I work in public relations but also delve into production projects.
