After the long drive from NY to Virginia, I met with the organizers of Odyssey Fights and learned the details of each fighter and took note of the space of the staging area for the event. I used After Effects to generate the Jumbotron title cards for each fighter. I shot footage of the set build and the preparations of the fighters themselves. Before each bout, I operated a Steadicam system to get smooth movements of each fighter as they entered the arena, as well during the fight itself. When assembling the edit, I used my footage, as well as select footage from the ISO cameras that were stationary above the cage, to give a dynamic view of the set-up and execution of the event as a whole.

With only one week to prepare and 2 days to get it done, myself and my Co-Director Qianying Zhou(Joy), wrote the treatment, drew the storyboards, secured 2 locations, interviewed and cast actors, and hired paid and non-paid crew members. Day 1, shooting day, we both directed the action and managed the set. On day 2, editing day, I focused on the special effects and sound while Joy focused on the overall edit. With a 12PM deadline, we finished with only a few moments to spare. All the hard work was worth it when we were declared the winners of US portion of the Hobbit Fan Challenge!

As Multimedia Producer, I function as the senior staff camera operator as well as the senior staff editor. I am responsible for coordinating the post-production process along with articulating our technical needs with third-party vendors including, but not limited to, camera operation, composition, field and studio lighting, sound recording, graphics and titles, editing style, file formats and compression as related to television broadcast as well as web delivery and streaming technologies.

I created 15, 30 second and 1 minute long animations, and videos promoting church activities, events, sales and other promotions for their weekly service. I also was a co-editor of the series, Perfecting Your Faith with Donnie McClurkin that played on the Word Network.

I worked with the Marketing department to overhaul the visual aesthetic of the JUS Punjabi brand and was charged with creating new intro animations for each show in their original programming. I worked directly with the Advertising department creating and editing simple ads for local businesses that bought airtime with the network.

Through Creative Soldier I was able to edit and animate corporate films for companies like Extell Development, the commercial real estate developer of the International Gem Tower on 55 West 46th Street in Manhattan. During my time with Creative Soldier I was able to work on After Effects animations for clients like Bed Bath and Beyond and Jet Blue in addition to editing sizzlers for a cooking-based TV series.

Working with producers from Hot 97, I was charged with being a "view from the crowd" camera and throughout the concert found different vantage points to get dynamic angles of the stage and concertgoers.

I along with a co-editor, Jason Ortiz, created the overall editing style while working closely with the directors to achieve their vision.
