I worked with Senior Editor Cal Perry leading the network's breaking news coverage. Together we monitored developing stories around the world and break into newshours with the latest reporting and images on everything from terrorist attacks to natural disasters. We were a core part of NBC newsgathering, working in close collaboration with live news senior executives. I also spent endless hours field producing, reporting and pioneering innovative ways to adapt our format of storytelling for TV, online and across whatever new platforms we can find to deliver it. That includes developing the network plan to integrate drone and 360 technology into breaking news coverage. I research, film, interview, crunch data and produce round-the-clock live hits for real-time coverage from the New York HQ, and at the heart of the stories wherever they happen across the U.S. and around the world. I also hosted a special digital series for NBC's investigative program Dateline, reporting on cyber security.

Report, write, film and produce top stories for up to five nationally-broadcasted newshours a day, including daytime and primetime. Produce feature and breaking news segments and packages on tight deadlines, coordinating coverage with war correspondents and production teams around the world. Pitch & field produce enterprise packages and live reporter hits. Created innovative formats for video storytelling, directing the Creative Dept’s use of graphics and animation to bring the best of digital video to broadcast. Translated French and Spanish to English for live broadcasts.
