To whom it may concern,
In the fall of 2016, I had the opportunity to work with Emi Sano on an independent feature shot in Baltimore. Over the course of a five-week production, Emi was the most focused and detail-oriented script supervisor any fil ...MORE... m crew could have asked for, even after shooting periods of up to sixteen hours.
That is only to speak of her final credited role in the feature. She had also proved herself invaluable on our set as a grip, set decorator, prop maker, and an all purpose extra hand, lending herself to any task that required assistance. As a skeleton indie crew, her effort really helped to instill a very team-oriented group mentality in the rest of the crew. Not to mention her extra work as a producer, media manager, and online marketing specialist in post production. Her dedication and professionalism is infectious. I am very happy I had the chance to work with Emi, and would do so again at a moment's notice.
I also know her to be a dedicated screenwriter, and I would not be surprised at all to learn if she is amazing in that field, as well.
Emi Sano will always give one-hundred percent to any production that is fortunate enough to have her.
