• Assembled, prepared and set up equipment prior to filming, which may include tripods, monitors, lighting, cables and leads, and headphones. • Practiced the camera moves required for pre-arranged shots. • Being prepared to innovate and experiment with ideas. • Working quickly, especially as timing is such an important factor; • Taking sole responsibility in situations where only one camera operator is involved in the filming. • Keeping up to date with filming methods and equipment. • Repairing and maintaining equipment. • Demonstrating a good awareness of health and safety issues. • Driving crew, actors and equipment to and from locations.

• Works as an assistant to the cinematographer and/or DoP. • Follows instructions from the Director as well. • Adjusts the camera lens or 'pulls focus'​ to follow the action on set. • In addition to being responsible for focusing and refocusing the camera lens, they are responsible for setting marks if necessary. • Relies on experience and instinct for each focal adjustment. • Manages and maintains camera equipment and accessories. • Responsible for camera equipment such as lenses, filters and matt boxes and for assembling the camera and its accessories for different shots. • Arrives on set or in the studio before the Director, Director of Photography and Camera Operator and ensure that the camera and all required lenses are prepared for the day's shoot. • Cleans the equipment and pack it up in preparation for the next day.

Digital Media Learning Production Assistant

• Prepped the roll out carts which included: tripod, camera, gaffer tape, surge protector, and all necessary items to film the games. • Transported all materials and equipment to the gym during setup. • Worked as a member of the event staff for all home games, and set up the equipment an hour before the game started. • Setup the tripod and camera properly so that its' positioning affects how the coaches view the game. • Used the zoom and panning features on the camera to emphasize the score board during time outs and other important areas. • Knowledgeable of all power chords, USB chords and P2 cards that the camera requires to record, while simultaneously connecting the hard drive as a backup. • Correctly formatted all P2 cards prior to using them before the game, and directly after. • After game, properly broke down all pieces of equipment and transported materials back into the DMLD lab. • Ingested all film that was recorded as well as added metadata to each file, and archiving for later use. • Uploaded the material to the GSU YouTube account and communicated all game links with coaches of both teams.
