• Write, produce, and supervise edit of lead packages for reporters covering top domestic and international news stories of the day. • Constantly monitor wires/news sources for breaking news to update packages. • Collaborate with reporters and crews in execution of stories assigned.

As supervising field producer i was responsible for staffing, approval of all tape pieces and scripts, assigning producers to segments and conducting creative meetings including shooting style and content. I was also responsible for advancing work flow and coordinating projects with post, promos, teases, and integrations.

As a producer I was responsible for shooting stories in the field including interviews, social experiments, hidden camera and news/topical events. I also supervised edits from those shoots resulting in pieces that aired in broadcasts.

Write, produce, and direct segments in the field and edit bay that covered a diverse amount of topics including: drug interventions and abuse, kidnappings, reality, and other crime stories.

• Produced and wrote news tape packages covering international and domestic stories including politics, medical, entertainment, and crime. • Collaborated with anchors, reporters, and correspondents in writing and production of news stories. • Booked subjects and experts for feature pieces airing on broadcast.

I field and story produced different topics that included; crime, health, social issues, family dynamics, medical miracles, and news events that resulted in pieces airing in broadcasts.

• Prepared, updated, and distributed scripts for talent and control room staff for live daily broadcasts of “Today In New York” and other broadcasts as needed.

I was responsible for editing and distribution of scripts during live broadcasts and field producing news and special events for different broadcasts.
