Meet with production/talent prior to each show to review rundown and discuss hits, interviews, and various locations in which live hits will occur. Make sure our set is ready to go. Clean, has working equipment, formats amd promotions are in place and everything needed for a successful show is ready. Check the other roaming locations for the same thing. Communicate any show highlights with camera and audio. Coordinate with PR and guests to ensure any interview slots are communicated and confirmed. Coordinate with producers if anything comes up or changes with guests, players or talent and help come up with a quick plan. Make sure all paid promotionals are covered . Help get talent from one location to another when we move to get interviews. Maintain crowd energy around set when we’re in concourse or outside as well as crowd control. Duties are the same if I’m working from the TV booth as well. Minus crowds, and movement.

Coordinate with lead producer/company owner on needs prior to event. Check crew in and out and assist in setting up equipment, crafty, meals, and ensuring talent is in place with everything needed prior and through out event. Pack up and help ensure all equipment is checked in and accounted for after event. Send completed crew sheets and any other pertinent information in post show.

Ensure all moving parts/talent/team were in place on time as scripted for the 2023 NHL outdoor game in Raleigh NC. I was responsible for moving the marching band in place, escorting the team to the venue, assisting on getting teams in place prior to opening, placing the introduction talent and cuing them on time, organizing the opening of colors (ROTC) , cuing the dancers and marching band that consisted of over 150 NC State students throughout the game.

Shop for and set up krafty area. Pick up supplies for worksite. Pick up crew members and provide transportation as needed. Take care of catering orders. Check on crew throughout event to make sure everyone has what they need. Keep krafty area and production area tidy. Help get equipment ready for shipping out post show.

Attend pregame production meetings to learn show flow and gather any in game sponsorship. Make sure our set and in game working areas have working equipment. Coordinate between production in the truck and talent and crew within the arena. Manage Hurricanes pregame show, make sure we flow with the format, get the crowd/fans around the desk involved in the show by letting them know when they’re live on air, firing them up while also keeping everything in order. Ensure any scheduled guests are set up and ready for their segments. Get talent from pregame set down to ice for in game hits. Coordinate player interviews with team PR. Get talent to interview location for intermissions, them back to set for intermission segments, them back to ice for in game hits. There are a lot of moving parts to our broadcast.

Meet with producers to go over the scheduled events and line ups. Make sure the equipment in my working area (side/backstage) is in full working order so I could coordinate and communicate from the stage to the producer and director in the production truck. Made sure each artist came to the stage as planned per format, communicated song line up to the truck for graphics. Made sure camera and audio crew on stage with me had everything needed and coordinated with runner if anything was needed. We were on a stage for a full days event that had over 40,000 fans. I made sure I not only made sure we stuck to our show format, but also made sure the crew was well taken care of so we could all be part of a successful show.
