Kent State University Independent Films is an organization that gives students the opportunity for real experience. KSUIF works as a student-run production company, where we produce a wide variety of content include webseries, short films, award-winning music videos, documentaries, TV shows, and, most important, feature length films. The organization is lead by a board of experienced film students, and is part of Student Media at Kent State University. I was responsible for: - Maintaining all social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Issue, etc) - Uploading all media produced by the organization online - Providing positive image of organization and builds reputation to the public

Kent State University Independent Films provided the opportunity to gain experience in various aspects of film. I was responsible for: - Handled equipment such as Tascams, Lowel Light Kits, Panasonic GH4, Canon C100, Panasonic AF100, Canon Rebel T5i, Rode Smart Lavalier Microphone. - Editing for the organization included short films, web series, trailers, interviews, promotional videos for the campus. - Utilizing programs such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Pro Tools, and Final Draft.

I was responsible for: - Supervising a team of editors and delegating tasks. - Cataloging and organizing raw video and audio films. - Using Avid Media Composer, ISIS, Adobe After Effects, Davinci Resolve - Editing the feature film along with multiple trailers and promotion videos for the film.

Kent State University independent Film's 3rd Full-Length Feature Film. They've taken on the genre of horror. Hell At Heathridge is distributed nation-wide in various Family Video locations. I was responsible for: - Working with Key Grip on lighting set ups. - Moving equipment back and forth to set everyday.

Olson Hall Council is an organization on the Kent campus that oversees and organizes activities for the dorm, Olson Hall. There is another organization, Kent Interhall Council, that oversees and organizes activities for all dorms on campus. As the KIC Representative, I was the liaison between the two organizations. My responsibilities included: - going to every KIC meeting and and relaying all the information back at the Olson Hall Meetings - representing the hall in campus wide events - doing charity work at different location to represent Kent State - organizing and running events held in Olson Hall
