Freelance • Field reporting, suggesting/developing story ideas, interviewing guests, coordinating schedules with production crews and co-hosting. • Coverage of news, arts and entertainment stories from Los Angeles. Examples include Academy Awards, Oscars, Golden Globes, celebrity court cases, special feature pieces (Oscars fashion for ‘men’, ‘how to be pampered like a movie star’, Hollywood v New York as production base and the politics of entertainment).

• Monthly business show looking at all aspects of business and economics of Dubai, neighbouring Emirates and the region. • Examples included; personal finance, property investment, quaint new businesses opening in the Emirate, look at gadgets for businessmen/women and announcing the winner of the monthly national lottery prize draw of $3.5m.

• Monthly show looking at businesses, business culture and environment in the Middle East. Shot in different location across the UAE. • Examples included the Dubai stock exchange, expat businesses in the region, interview with key business leaders and reports from other countries in the region.

• Weekly business/lifestyle travel show (seen in 170 countries in 320m homes worldwide as well on planes, cruise ships, airport lounges and hotels/resorts). The program covered travel from both a business and consumer perspective. • Issues covered include impact of tsunami on tourism, scam behind passenger deals, ecotourism, corporate social responsibility, coverage of every major annual travel and tourism conference (World travel Market, Arabian Travel Market, ITB Berlin – largest travel market in the World). • Interviewed some of the biggest names in travel and tourism industry from the president and CEo of major hotels and airlines to government ministers and royal dignitaries (also ministers in their country). • Invited guest speaker at various events including the Latvian Hotel and Restaurant Association, International Hotel and Restaurant Association, the International School of Hoteliers in Brussels (Belgium) • MC for various travel related award ceremonies (India, Abu Dhabi, Trinidad and Tabago and London) as well as representing the BBC World TV network as a brand ambassador as the ‘face of travel’ recognized in major international markets around the globe. • Traveled to 76 countries covering some of the issues as outlined above.

• ‘Up All Night’ (4-hour, interactive, daily overnight programme covering news, current affairs, features and entertainment) show from 12 midnight till 4am four days a week. Stories covered both nationally and internationally. Lively debate show involving public phone-ins and interview with guests appearing in the news. • TV reviewer and film critic. Looked at some of the new releases as well as critiquing some of the shows on various networks from soaps to documentaries and from real life story features to sitcoms.

Segments include guests, interviews, phone-ins, up to date weather and travel info as well as hot topical debate. • ‘Breakfast’ – Live, 3-hour news/current affairs and entertainment show with guests, phone-ins, topical debate, competitions and music.
