Reported ‘live’ from the red carpet at the Academy Awards (2000) with special features a week leading up to the actual event and during as well as post-Oscar performances. - Red Carpet Premieres both ‘live’ and recorded from venue outside the movie theatre as well as inside the auditorium with interviews with whole cast and key crew individuals such as director and producers. - Junket interviews – conducted before the screening of every major movie premiere. Interviews include Tom Cruise, Madonna, Uma Thurman, Johnny Depp, John Travolta, Dame Judi Dench, Piers Brosnan, Halle Berry, Michael Caine, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Spacey plus many other A-List Hollywood celebrities. - Special feature on Bollywood (Indian film industry) with coverage from Film City in Mumbai, India. Feature included interviews with major playback singers/performers; interview with RD Burman (one of the most famous directors in Indian cinema). Plus behind the scenes on location on films being shot at Film City looking at business side of the industry.

- Field Producer; assisted team in coordinating logistics and movement of personnel in and around Pakistan. - Field Producer; negotiated with tribal leaders safe access and passage in sensitive towns near the Afghan/Pakistan border. Also help facilitate ALL financial transactions between team and locals on the ground. - Correspondent; often report LIVE into London on daily updates of latest breaking news and events as they unfolded.

• ‘U’ Direct Film Channel – in house production of movies and features centred around art house and independent movies. • Host – review movies; write and create reports and features around each movie; edit and produce final half-hour feature. • Producer – responsible for interviews (filmmakers and other movie pundits), editing, coordinating shoot with production staff/crew, (art house movies). Liason with film production company, attending film festivals and marketing/promotion of the show.

• Created this role from scratch as entertainment was part of media show. Skills include broadcast journalism, field and studio producing and reporting, writing stories, news research and production, developing creative story ideas, producing/hosting news specials and features, and related electronic media functions. • Special Features – single handedly created, producing and hosted special half-hour features (quarterly) from both Hollywood and New York on the US film industry. • Business - Covering the business of entertainment. This included, performance of entertainment stocks (analyzing the weekly performance of key media stocks from EMI music to Polygram - parent company of Working Title); looking at mergers and acquisitions of media companies as well as buyouts; co-anchoring media segment with main anchors to look at key movers and shakers in the media industry; round-up of most important stories affecting both European and American markets within media/entertainment. • Entertainment – hosted, produced and edited weekly round-up of the top 10 movies in Europe in terms of box office revenues (in conjunction with Screen International magazine). Also produced, co-hosted and edited the top 10 music charts in a European country every week (results depending on sales per week – in conjunction with Music Week magazine). to the business of film/music (new media, celebrity interviews, film reviews and weekly studio appearances to discuss key entertainment events). As part of my new role I would also cover entertainment events from MTV Europe Music Awards to The Academy Awards and Golden Globes from Los Angeles as well as the Berlin and Cannes Film Festivals. This would include on-location reports, live crosses into main studio in London as well as phone-ins. I would be responsible for co-ordinating, creating and producing the reports and features on-location (Cannes, LA and Berlin) as well as sorting out logistics pre and post shot.
