Studio 300 is as small one engineer recording and mixing studio for radio and television. I was brought on as a freelance assistant audio engineer to assist the head engineer during the studio's busy season. As the studio's assistant, I prep sessions for record to adjusting and changing microphones for the talent, I clean up vocals in recordings and premix spots for mastering after recording. When the studio is booked with back to back sessions, I fully mix the previous sessions while the head engineer maintain the recording session(s). I am also required to do music and sound effect searches when clients requests. Lastly, I maintain cleanliness of the studio, I listen to final mixes to check for mistakes, and I run errands for the studio and their clients.

Audio editing and clean up of recorded dialog on set. Mixing and mastering of all recorded audio, sound effects, and music for DVD, online, and Theater release.

I sat in on recording sessions and assisted with client needs in studio. I was apart of the mixing process providing an extra set of ears to listen for mistates or how well the mix sounded. Along with sitting in sessions I also did music and sound effects searches. Lastly, I performed maintenance duties.

Edited down long formed speaking engagement into sound bits for short 1 minute Ad for the speaker to use to promote herself for more speaking engagements. Searched and edited music, as well as audio clean up on dirty sound bits.

Searched for sfx and needle drop music for commercial, radio, and animatic spots. Sat in on sessions, assisting the head engineer and client services.
