Developed series for the new video initiative at the New York Post. Was involved in every aspect of development, including voice, branding, story selection, and shooting and testing pilot ideas.

Investigated, shot and edited hidden New York stories, such as on site drug testing at an illegal underground rave in Brooklyn; the world’s first Jiu Jitsu tournament for the disabled, and profiles of an innovative sex toy company using advanced 3D printing technology.

Assembled the daily News Capsule for Vice News. Responsibilities included finding footage on AP, Reuters, Storyful and other wires; scripting, tracking, and working with working with editors for the final package.

Involved in every detail of production, including pitching shows, scouting locations, and dealing with visas, carnets and all pre-production details. Once on the ground, I often shot and simultaneously produced pieces. I’m proficient in Final Cut X, and also quickly became one of the lead writers for the show.

Wrote and produced the morning news email for Crain’s New York Business. Responsibilities include story selection, writing, editing and producing in a deadline news environment with multiple editors.

Assisted in live shots throughout the UN General Assembly. This included research, script edits, briefing correspondents, assisting in set-up, escorting dignitaries, and other all details. I also assisted in and independently produced stories on topics ranging from the sale of Steinway Pianos to anti-gay propaganda laws in Russia.
