Often outdoors and off the beaten path, our G&E van/gear includes a strong variety of lighting & Grip gear, for both conventional and unconventional locations.

Ran G&E for a series of-re-enactments of teenagers reading Ronald Reagan speeches for the Presidential Library in California. Lighting included Kenos & Astras and basic Grip techniques.

Week-long shoot involving lighting and filming a studio setup with the head of the Washington Business Journal interviewing a variety of guest on a TV in-studio via Zoom.

Handled G&E for a Corporate Interview series as well as some B-Roll at the Neustar offices in Reston, Virginia. Lit primarily with Kenos and Astras employing basic Grip techniques for interview lighting.

A continuous member of a 3-4-person G&E team for a decent-budget BET Original Film involving notable celebrity actors. Setups included indoor & outdoor, as well as on boats. Lights included HMIs, Litemats, Dedos & Astras, as well as a lot of Grip gear & techniques.

Served as part of a 2-person G&E team for a commercial for Bethesda Video Games. Done in the style of a 1970's informercial, the lighting scheme involved overdone coloring and camera techniques. Shot entirely during the daytime during Summer, a variety of lights & Grip tactics were employed.

Gaffer GW Hospital Shoot

American Surgical College — Advertising — Ventana Productions Details
10/21 – 10/21

Served initially as a Grip, then promoted to Gaffer for a 4-day shoot for the American Surgical College, depicting Surgeons in a positive manner for a high-budget promotional video. Lighting involved on-the-fly setups and Grip techniques for a production on wheels within a hospital.

Grip Goodyear Walmart NFL Tailgate

Goodyear — Advertising — Tuff Contender Details
10/21 – 10/21

Served as a Grip on a 15-person G&E team for a high-budget commercial with NFL Star and ESPN Analyst Marcus Spears. Shot entirely during the day, the Grip plan was firing a 20K HMI through a 12x Frame and using various Grip techniques, including a Menace Arm, to block, diffuse and deflect light as the sun changed places throughout the day.
