Producer assigned to multiple projects involving client relations, corporate training and marketing videos distributed nationally. Wrote and produced client success stories highlighting the use of School Improvement Network’s product and it’s involvement in the success of each client. Coordinated the hiring of the freelance crew, participated on location shoot and post production including the writing of scripts. Oversaw all aspects of the post-production process including delivery to client. Organized all elements of travel associated with projects. Oversaw the creation and writing of online learning experiences. Worked as the project manager overseeing a team of writers, instructional designers, photographers and editors to create rich PD content including embedded video and interactive activities. I was hired on a six-month contract that was extended to 18 months.

Produced a 30-minute special documentary highlighting the plight of refugees in Utah. Coordinated all necessary paperwork and production schedule with both private, religious and government agencies. Entire project was started and finished within a nine-week period. Delivery was 10 days early. Client has requested another project similar in nature.

Producer for seasons five, six and seven of The Story Trek distributed by BYU-TV nationally to 60 million homes. Dealt with all the practical and political aspects of keeping the project running smoothly. Coordinated all necessary paperwork, permits and releases to ensure compliance with local laws. Performed management activities during pre and post production and final delivery of product. Facilitated all scheduling of crew, equipment, travel arrangements and hiring of on location crew such as PAs. Coordinated all media contact including publicity, local news articles and interviews.

Produced all evening newscasts including special shows for multiple Olympics, NFL and election nights. Coordinated show content, manager reporters, APs, editors and breaking news situations. Extensive experience in tease and promotional writing. Wrote anchor PKGs and approved scripts for content, accuracy and brand.
