As 2nd 2nd, my duties included being front line of communication to any and all crew for execution of the day's work, assigning and managing our PA staff on a multitude of tasks, building and revising the daily Production Reports, keeping our cast members happy and comfortable in accordance to all SAG regulation. I would also act as back up to the 1st AD, as he was a smoker he would frequently leave me in charge to keep the set moving safely and efficiently.

Credited as 1st AD although my daily duties were closer to that of a 2nd 2nd AD. I signed out actors in and out. Handled most background talent duties. And on days were we split our A and B cameras in to two separate units (which happened frequently), I would take over as 1st AD with our main unit.

Broke down and scheduled the script multiple times through rewrites. Shot an 85 page, full fledged action film in 20 days.

Took care of all 2nd AD duties i.e. daily call sheet build/distro, talent coordination/daily travel etc. As well as some 2nd 2nd AD duties i.e. daily progress reports, background talent coordination/placement, basecamp operation.
