This was a Challenge Show in Panama, so we had to help camera operators get into their positions (hills, caves, valleys, busy cities, rooftops, etc) and keep an eye on camera to make sure they were always good on batteries and media. This show was a lot of physical work.
Summary
I'm a camera assistant who loves working and staying busy! I'm also familiar with basic lighting set ups. After working on a number of multi-camera, high stress, reality/challenge shows, I feel like I can handle anything.

It was a 12 camera set up. The other ACs and I had to jam them, change lenses, batteries, and media. We also had to go into the menu and change the dates and userbits every morning. We moved the cameras, tripods, camera cart, batteries, scaffolding, etc from course to course.

This was shot live and in a studio so I had to make sure each camera was hard-lined to video village. Since we used old cameras, there was a lot of back focus and color testing. I also helped set up go-pros.
