I was in constant contact with all department heads, making sure that the show had a cohesive "holiday" feel to it. This included working with the writer as well as collaborating with the DP and lighting crew to ensure that all our segments flowed together. And, I worked with the talent, directing them so that each set-up felt consistent and had a holiday enthusiasm.

This was a three camera shoot with two cameras focused on main talent and one crew, roaming in the party with secondary talent, doing interviews. All of this had to be choreographed (as well as you can choreograph a live to tape show) and I and along with the executive producer was in constant contact with everyone to ensure we had a consistent look and feel from the talent as well as cameras and lighting. Also, because we were moving fast, I worked with the writer, doing quick re-writes and edits.
