* Provide lead research & booking functions for true-crime series for Reelz Channel, Investigation Discovery, and Oxygen * Locate, cold call, contact, and complete background checks on potential program participants * Complete write-ups/pitches based on phone interviews with police, prosecutors, & families for submission to networks

* Manage research department across all series, including development, for Washington, DC office (sometimes for the NYC office) * Manage between 3 to 18 researchers for true crime, investigative and reality programming * Provide lead research functions on developing and new series * Pitch & communicate with law enforcement personnel frequently, main point of contact for FBI within Sirens * Step in to fill the role of series producer when needed * Centralize and streamline research to maximize efficiency and meet series deadlines & milestones * Develop and maintain research systems, databases, templates, and guidelines * Interview and evaluate potential new research/casting hires * Consult with executives to address legal, content, & criteria concerns for development and continuing series programs
