For 24 years, Urbanworld Film Festival has welcomed the biggest and brightest on-screen talent, directors, and key industry influencers. This engaging and unique 5-day festival includes film screenings (Documentary, Narrative, and Shorts), panel discussions (UW Digital), Live screenplay readings and exclusive music performances (UW Music). • Screened film submissions and selected presented titles • Act as a liaison between eight departments and over 80 films/filmmakers annually. • Developed and managed digital interactive platforms (social media, website) for international audience • Handled all incoming filmmaker requests, communication and general inquiries. • Leveraged advanced skills and training to support the operational needs of multiple departments. • Sourced vendors for special project needs and negotiated contracts. • Prepared vendor invoices and processed incoming payments. • Developed standard operating procedures for all administrative employees. • Negotiated and maintained vendor service contracts for pre-production and onsite filmmaker activations. • Developed estimates and budgets, creating and overseeing production operations • Supervised a production team and crew; offering feedback, enforcing deadlines and issuing schedules • Oversaw all phases of Festival Ops, from pre- to post-production.
