4/21 – 6/21

After having edited for all 9 seasons, the final 52 episodes were lead by me with a team of 1 additional editor, 1 assistant editor, a post coordinator and a post PA. I took on the lead position and delegated the appropriate tasks to my team to be able to edit and deliver each episode under a new 1 hour format and with a limited schedule and workload compared to previous seasons.

9/13 – 4/21

Editor (Avid) The Home & Family Show (Season 3)

Hallmark — TV Details
9/13 – 4/21

After being promoted to Editor from Assistant Editor, I continued working on the daytime, 2 hour program, The Home & Family Show through the first half of season 9. I worked alongside the lead editor to cut various pretaped DIY or cooking portions to roll in live-to-tape while the show was being recorded. I would ingest each segment and string them together to create the full episode sequence. That would then be edited down based on producer notes or fixing known errors that occurred during filming. We primarily used Avid but had the Adobe CC Suite for Photoshop and After Effects for various elements that would also roll into each segment or edited after shooting finished. This is a live to tape show that shoots on 4 primary cameras with a 5th floating camera if it was needed and 2 overhead "robo-cams" for top down shots. We used a NEXIS network storage system that all media was recorded and ingested to and at least 5 Avid machines that had shared access to edit.
