Responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining financial policies/procedures, ensuring compliance within the accounting and production teams across 50+ projects including Welcome To Wrexham (FX), Chef’s Table (Netflix), and Rennervations (Disney+). • Provided training, guidance and leadership to the accounting team which created process efficiencies when I introduced reporting schedules. • Streamlined and simplified the month end process by creating month end reporting packages, which included cost report, trial balance, bank reconciliation, bank statement, and variance report. • Vetted reporting packages prior to distributing to buyers, decreasing the number of notes/questions and increasing the timeliness of funding installments. • Collaborated with physical Production, Post Production, Legal, and Creative in order to navigate relevant information to the accounting team and manage expectations. • Reduced the amount of intercompany loans 25% by managing cashflow schedules and ensuring studio funding requests were submitted in a timely manner. • Collaborated with Corp Finance to create an interface between Production and Corp accounting systems, resulting in a seamless transfer of data. • Analyzed margin reports to verify completeness, this ensured intercompany billings were processed as they became due. • Improved the flow of information by updating Corp Finance weekly on all AP/AR tracking between Cricket Lane (Internal Post House Company), Boardwalk and any other entities/shows. • Ensured prompt initial funding by becoming the main point of contact for vendor set ups/onboarding with buyers (e.g. Netflix, Disney, Amazon, HBO Max, etc.). • Supervised up to eight employees, including Production Accountants, Assistant Accounts, and Accounting Clerk.

Responsible for accounting, cost reporting, and managing multiple Development and Series projects throughout the Prep, Production, and Post process, including Behind The Music, Mary J. Blige Documentary, Unfinished Business, Dating Mrs. Robinson, and Friday Night. • Manage and maintain Development database with over 20 projects (and growing) with budgets ranging from $10K to $125K, creating project codes in order to track costs by project. • Manage and update Development Analysis on a bi-weekly basis in order to determine the profit margin by project and report the results to the executives. • Review and manage detailed budgets and update as needed. • Prepare and manage multiple cash flow requests per project (Development and Series), as well as requesting and recording inter-company loans (via journal entries) as needed. • Prepare and manage cost reporting on a bi-weekly basis, reviewing the activity in all accounts and determining any variances that may occur in the current or future periods in order to convey the financial position during production for the executives and network. • Review, monitor, and record GA Tax transactions with regards to tax incentives, and make payments in quarterly installments. • Review and prepare all cost reports, ledger reports, and bank reconciliations for month-end reporting; furthermore, proposing and recording all necessary journal entries including inter-company entries. • Process and track all inter-company billbacks, proposing and recording the transfer of funds between project and corporate bank accounts. • Create and maintain accounting procedures to ensure proper controls and accurate audit trails. • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external parties. • Work closely with EIC’s, Line Producers, and Accounting Team to maintain accurate reporting. • Supervise Accounting Team, including Assistant Accountants and Accounting Clerks.

Responsible for accounting, cost reporting, and managing the multi-currency budget in USD and MXN for Netflix Selena: The Series while filming in Rosarito, MX. • Review, approve, and process union (SAG-AFTRA/WGA) and non-union payroll....Reviewing exhibit G's and creating multiple timesheets for each performer, considering block shooting, cross boarding, and union rules/standards. Create, review, and manage detailed budget for an 18-Episode 2-Part limited series, as well as update budget as needed. Create and maintain accounting procedures to ensure proper controls and accurate audit trails. Prepare and manage cash flow requests per Netflix schedule, as well as approve MXN cash flow requests from local production company in Mexico.

Reconcile multiple bank accounts, including main corporate and individual production accounts. Identify weaknesses in the accounting systems and procedures, and determine the company’s accounting needs. Make recommendations to their company policies.
