Layla Harleston

I am an intern in charge of the office paperwork and also I am on set helping the producer and the director, by checking the show wall envelopes and picking up food for talent and setting up craft services.

I was an on set production assistant. I helped with making sure all the days tasks were met. I came early and prepared the talents makeup and dressing rooms. And I made the guest list and made sure the audience members were in there correct seats.

I produced an interview of "The Cosby Show's" Phylicia Rashad and the director of Steele Magnolias, Kenny Leon. She spoke about her role on Steele Magnolias, and The Cosby Show.

I served as Producer and Director for the Atlanta Television fest where many Industry professionals like Gary Mrowca, editor for disney movies like Highschool musical, and "The Cosby show's" Phylicia Rashad, participated in panels and screenings at SCAD.

I was associate producer for a short film, about the coming of age of a college student, named HerStory. I was also the Casting Director for this film as well. The film will be submitted in the Sundance festival this year.

I was an office and set production assistant. I helped with the day to day activities of the production. I made sure that the daily distribution was filed and made the call sheets.

During my internship with Channel 2 news, I served as production assistant to the company, made press releases. And served as camera operator. I also assisted the editors in editing segments for the show using final cut and avid.

I produced and edited a promotional video for the Frazer Center, a school for disabled adults and children as apart of an internship for SCAD. I went out into the field and shot interviews with the adults and children that attend the facility. Edited the footage with final cut 7
